THE WORKFLOW TEARDOWN

Your business is probably still doing manually what your competitors are starting to automate.

Before you spend thousands on AI, automation or another piece of software, find out exactly where slow enquiries, forgotten follow-ups and repetitive admin are costing you time and sales, and which three fixes are actually worth making.

Fixed-price diagnostic · £350 for five selected founding clients · No software to buy · No obligation to implement.

THE REALITY OF SCALING

This shouldn't still be manual

If any of this is true of your business, the Workflow Teardown was built for exactly this.

01

An enquiry comes in ready to buy, and it waits, because everyone's busy doing the work you already sold.

02

Quotes take days to go out, and faster competitors are getting there first.

03

Some quotes never get chased at all, so you write them off as lost when nobody actually followed up.

04

The same information gets typed into two or three systems, which means you're paying someone to do a job software should do instantly.

You know you should be doing something with AI. But where?

You've seen the demos. You've probably tried ChatGPT. You've heard what AI and automation are supposed to be doing for businesses like yours.

Meanwhile, enquiries still land in an inbox. Someone copies the details across. A quote goes out when there's time to write one. Chasing it up depends on someone remembering. And the details get typed into another system all over again.

So the real question isn't whether you should be using AI. It's where it would actually make a difference in your business, and where it's just noise.

Everyone's telling you to use AI. Nobody's telling you where it would actually make a difference in your business.

That's what the Workflow Teardown finds out, before you spend a penny on the wrong fix.

What it is

A fast, low-risk diagnostic on one part of your business: how an enquiry becomes a booked job. Over a week, I map the process as it runs today, not how it's meant to run, put a figure on what slow response, manual admin and dropped follow-up are costing you, and hand you a clear, ranked list of what to fix first.

What you get

See exactly where things are getting stuck.

One visual map of what really happens from new enquiry to booked job, including the handoffs, duplicated work and gaps nobody notices day to day.

Put a figure on the problem.

What slow response, missed follow-up and avoidable admin could be costing you, using assumptions you can see and question, not inflated numbers.

Know what to fix first.

Not a 40-page transformation plan. The three changes most likely to make a difference, ranked by impact and effort.

A fixed-price proposal for the highest-impact fix,

If you want to take it further.

Why trust Jonathan

14 years running the operational side of a real business: sales, marketing, client delivery, and the systems and automations connecting them, all built personally. Before that, a career in enterprise IT and data warehousing consultancy, managing technical delivery teams. The goal was never to automate everything. It's finding the few things actually worth fixing, and the Workflow Teardown is built the same way.

PRICING

Price and timeline

£350 to find out where the money's leaking, before you spend thousands fixing the wrong thing.

Five selected founding clients

£350

Chosen for real access and evidence potential, not first-come. In exchange, I need genuine access and permission to measure a baseline now and the result later, used anonymously. No testimonial required, and your business isn't named without separate permission. If you go on to commission the implementation, a Results Review, a measured before-and-after comparison, is included at no extra charge.

Standard rate

£500+

If you don't fit the founding criteria, or the five places are already taken, the Teardown is still available at the standard rate. Fixed price either way, agreed before we start. Two short conversations, then a week to ten days once the access and information we need are in place.

The teardown stands on its own, most clients stop here. But if it does turn up a fix worth making, the next steps are fixed-price too, agreed in writing before anything starts. No follow-up chasing, no assumption you'll want more.

What happens next

01

The Workflow Discovery Session.

60 minutes, to capture how enquiries and quotes currently move through your business in the detail the diagnosis needs.

02

The teardown.

I map the process, quantify what's being lost, and rank the fixes. A week to ten days.

03

The walkthrough.

I talk you through the findings, in person or on a call. You leave with the map, the numbers, and the proposal. What you do with it after that is up to you.

What it isn't

There's no obligation to do anything with the findings beyond read them. No software to buy, no project to sign up for, no pressure to spend another penny unless you want to. And if enquiries or quotes turn out not to be where your business is losing time, I'll tell you that directly and point you toward the right next step instead.

Who it's for

Businesses where enquiries or quotes are the pinch point: response times that slip, quotes that sit unchased, the same information typed in more than once. If that's not the bottleneck, the Workflow Teardown isn't the right starting point for you, and I'd rather say so than sell you the wrong thing.

Running a larger operation, or your biggest inefficiencies sit outside enquiries and quotes? The full AI Operations Audit covers any part of the business, not just this one workflow.

Curious what a teardown would find in your business?

One short conversation, no obligation, no sales pressure.
